Efire EOD Optic Smoke Detectors are designed to trigger fire alarm signal when smoke particles gets through detection cells and therefore cause breakup or absorption of the light inside the chamber. It is sensitive to white smoke with large particles.

Efire EOD Optic Smoke Detector is the most preferred type among the other detector types and usually used in places where you get white smoke with large particles such as UPS rooms or places where cable shaft and PVC insulation materials are stored. Efire EOD Optic Smoke Detector  are manufactured in accordance with EN54-7 standards.
